A Pilgrimage of Commitment and Continuity

In December 2025, Spirit Bright sponsored two Buddhist monks on a pilgrimage to India with Brothers4Life and senior monks from iMonastery.

Sacred Sites

The journey took them through some of Buddhism's most significant locations:

• Bodhgaya — Where they reaffirmed their ordination under the Bodhi Tree, at the very place where Siddhartha Gautama attained enlightenment
• Sarnath — The site of the Buddha's first teaching
• Kushinara — Where the Buddha attained Nirvana, a place for contemplating impermanence
• Nalanda — The ancient Buddhist university, representing a lineage of wisdom that transcended time, culture, and geography

Integration

Following the pilgrimage, the monks returned to iMonastery in Chiang Mai for a period of integration through meditation, study, service, and silence.

Spirit Bright supports inner clarity, ethical living, and long-term wisdom. This pilgrimage was an investment in depth, continuity, and transmission — ensuring that the Dharma is not only remembered, but lived.
