Not all of Spirit Bright’s work happens in a village or a schoolyard. Some of it happens in a room full of people who have come together to think about how they want to live. In November 2025, Spirit Bright was proud to support A Life Beyond Fear, a public talk at New York’s historic United Palace Theater in Washington Heights.
Nearly 1,200 people filled the theater to explore a question that touches everyone: how to live with greater courage, clarity and peace — and how to loosen the grip that fear can hold over a life. It was an evening of teaching and reflection on facing what frightens us and choosing to keep living fully anyway.
Gatherings like this sit at the heart of our Wisdom & Teaching work: helping share tools for well-being and inner steadiness as widely as possible, so that more people can carry a little more calm — and a little less fear — into their everyday lives.
“Courage isn’t the absence of fear — it’s the willingness to keep living fully in spite of it.”
Spreading wisdom widely
Making teachings on courage, clarity and peace available to as many people as possible is a core part of what we do. If you’d like to support Spirit Bright’s work — or bring a gathering like this to your community — we’d love to hear from you. Spirit Bright is a registered 501(c)(3).
